In this ongoing project, in collaboration with my mentees and colleagues, I am developing catalytic green CO2 utilization routes. We are custom-crafting porous material catalysts containing targeted functionality for photochemical and electrochemical use of CO2 as a feedstock to produce value-added organic compounds e.g., carboxylates, lactones, (poly)carbonates, etc. at room temperature and ambient pressure.
